you should have cried or screamed at him.

I could understand if he was going out with the "boys". Its healthy for a relationship for partners to go out with their friends one night a week or so. In this case, it sounds like he is exploring the other side of the fence, and then come home to you.
I would have one last talk with him and tell him if he does this again that you won't put up with it. Either you go together or neither go at all. Him saying "thats how it is sometimes" wouldn't fly with me. All too often men think that they can just take women for granted and no matter what they do we will always stick around. However, there is a breaking pt. where we have to say ..hey I had enough.
You obviously care for him and you don't want to make a rash decision, but when it comes down to it no matter what advice you get here, you have to follow in your heart what you think would be best for you.

Oh my! What are you doing letting him do this to you? He is choosing you over other girls. If your not number 1 then you will never be. If you let him do this to you then it will continue. A man can only do to you what you allow him to. You should never come second best to any female, unless it may be his daughter. If he doesn't want to take you and is still going no matter what, then your opinion doesn't matter then you need to leave him. Let him go the party and never answer a call from him again. He'll get the picture. If you make and argument about it and he is going know matter what, then he'll know he can put you last when ever he wants. Sounds to me that your losing him soon anyway, with that being his decision. So stand up for yourself and leave him first.

Sounds like your boyfriend is getting a bit of that 'playa' syndrome. Sugar, if your man says you can't go with him to a party where there's girls he's been hanging out with, and didn't tell you, it's time for you to boot his *** to the curb!
They don't know you so you can't go? Of all the lame *** excuses! Do yourself a favor, Sweetie, and find a man that would be proud to have you on his arm ANYWHERE you two are together. Because presently? I think you're in for a visit to the Heartbreak Hotel. Cancel your reservation by making one for your boyfriend instead, and tell him it's over!
You deserve better!

I would have told him,"Ok, if you're going to this party, then, you can find yourself another girlfriend, bub bye." You don't need to take that crap. I real "man" wouldn't leave you at home and not take you some where without him (unless it's a night out with the guys). Not hanging out with a bunch of 19 year old girls. Find yourself another man! Sorry and good luck!

I really don't like his attitude. If those girls really don't want you to come then it sounds like they have their eye on him and he's obviously cool with that because he didn't make a big deal about it. If he's lying and doesn't want you to come then he's got his eye on one of them or there's trouble in the relationship. Either way it sounds like trouble. At 24 there should be more maturity in the relationship. If it was like a guys night out I might understand but in this case, I say dump the idiot because he is looking around.

It's pretty clear he wants to be "single" tonight. He's disrespecting you AND your relationship. Do you party with your male friends without him? Maybe you should start. This guy isn't treating you right. You need to find a man who wants to be with you more than he wants to go to a party you've been banned from.

24? You're kidding right? This sounds soooo high school, I thought you were like 16.
Dump the guy and grow up. Then find a real man.

wow..... dump him. He seems like a jerk. 1. He doesn't need to be going somewhere if you cant go too 2. He should be with you 3. It all sounds suspicious.
He needs to realize that your his girlfriend and the main girl in his life and he doesnt need to be hanging out with a bunch of other girls w/o you.
Good luck....

if he values your feelings and that you're so upset, then he should not go... it is not that it is just like that sometimes, his reasons, but the fact that he didn't tell you until you confronted him makes it different. would it be okay for him if you flirts with other guys then(?), you can asked him...these girls, his friends, don't consider you then that is a thing he must be upset also not if he is flirting with them also.

this sounds so petty. for someone that age to be like this. yr bf should be taking you or staying home with you. that dosnt sound right. do you really want him as yr boyfriend if this is what he wants. it sounds like he is not committed to you or wants to be
