OK, honestly I don't know what's wrong with me or if anything's EVEN wrong with me but yea. I'm 16 years old just to let you all know. I get extremely frustrated for no reason, sad, PISSED off at everyone, I throw things across my room, cry and then go in my room and use some kind of drug to get my mind off everything all at the same time. Im just so tired of everything and everyone, I end up hating everyone and my anger level rises severly if I don't get my way. You probably think I'm some kind of spoiled, bitchy girl blah blah but im not. Im usually quiet, shy with everyone I talk to, then at home I turn into this psycho BlTCH in my room but no one knows. I go absolutely crazy. Wanting to kill myself because I see everything in my life pointless and bored. Then, minutes later, I'll be laughing at myself and happy with everyone. I don't think this is normal..I don't know if it's just teenage stress or what.

Could be part teenage stress or manic depressive disorder. Could be any number of things. A chemical imbalance in the brain somewhere. You really should have a serious talk with your parents about seeing a doctor. I know, sounds dorky. I was kinda the same way when I was your age. And still am. Just not as extreme. But I wish I had done something about it early on. Maybe I would have had more fun as a kid instead of usually being depressed and stoned. Not good. You don't have to tell your parents about the drugs (you should though) but at least see if they will take you to have you evaluated to find out what (if anything) is wrong.

Hi. Im a 20 year old med student, that is specializing in neurology. What you are experiencing is a typical and very common disorder that occurs in the adolescent years. The description you gave displays typical case book example of a NT or neuro transimiter in-balance in the sypnatic region of your brain. In other words your experiencing a chemical in-balance in your brain. Its just like getting drunk but obviously with more severe ramifications. If symptoms persist, especialy those of suicide you call a help line immediatly and try to consult a physician as soon as possible. Plus you should try not to use any controlled substances( drugs) anymore. If you need someone to talk to just email me and we can talk through these episodes.

bi-polar disorder. You sound like you fit the bill. I used to have the same problems. Then i went to a psychiatrist and got on some meds. (This was a few years ago, I'm 17 now) They help tremendously! You should think about it. It's not a good way to live your life. Believe me I know. Don't blame yourself. I've learned that sometimes you can't help yourself because of a chemical imbalance that only medication can help. You should talk to your parents about seeing someone. Maybe just a therapist will help. Just someone to talk to. Good luck!

What you need are anger management classes. Get off the drugs because they are most likely the problem to begin with.
This will take professional help.
You are young, get help before it is too late.
It's a tough world out there today and way too much stress has been put on our young ones.
Do yourself a favor hon, and get the help you need.
Good luck. I hope it works out for you.

Sounds like histrionic personality disorder or maybe boarderline personality disorder. Then again it may not be personality disorder at all, it's definatly not deppression since it is not accomapined by chronic fatige. It almost sounds like an episode of Mania in which case you would need mood stablizers. If you have sleep problems that is a sign of Mania. Mania is a hallmark of bipolar disorder too if you feel very deppressed between these symptoms then it might be bipolar disorder.

I'm the same age and I have the same problem. I think it's only teenage stress... We might have the same levels of stress because I was found to have levels through the roof and the emotional aspect of life seems like being bipolar. You might not even think you're that stressed (I didn't) but relax... Try driving around. That really helps me.

Do you have a loved one to talk to? I suggest that you call a prayer line at 918-495-7777. There is someone there 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I know, because I have called them many times when I didn't have anyone to talk to that would understand. You really need to know that someone really cares about you and loves you unconditionally. You are just letting your emotions control you. Please call them -- give them a chance -- if the line is busy -- keep trying -- they get over 3 or 4 thousand calls a day from all over the world. There are people getting healed of cancer and all types of problems -- God really does love you!

A bipolar disorder will cause you to go up and down. But you don't say what your home life is like compared to your school life. What is going on at home that could change the way you feel??Talk to somebody, look up bipolar and compare the way you feel with what you find out and then see your doctoe. Nobody needs to hurt or do drugs to feel better. Good luck and please take care of yourself.

See this page with advice for teenage girls. Then click on "natural healing" and see "depression and bipolar disorder." Maybe it is bipolar. You could check it with a therapist.
Make sure to see page suggested at bottom of teen advice called "prescription for life."

Sounds like a mood disorder, but may just be teenage angst. It will not help you to self-medicate with drugs or alcohol. Please talk to a school counselor or a doctor, someone you trust, and tell them everything.
