It all comes down to 3500 calories per pound of body weight. If you cut your calorie intake by 500 calories per day, and keep up the same activity level, then you should lose about one pound per week. After 15 weeks, you should be 15 pounds lighter.
Try keeping a food diary so you can look up the calorie content. Then you will be able to see what or how much to cut out from your intake.
Or you could keep eating about the same amount, and just walk about 10 miles per day! The link below has a big chart of calories that various activities burn. It is difficult to expend 500 extra calories per day, but some activity plus eating less will work together very well.
One important point on changing your diet: Carbohydrates (including sugar) and protein have 4 calories per gram. Alcohol has 7 calories per gram. Fat has 9 calories per gram. If you are looking for something to cut, start with the high-fat stuff. Like most fast food!

I think the best way for you to lose the weight at your age is walking and cutting some unnecessary foods from your diet. Walking seems to be the healthiest and quickest way to lose weight. I believe this is due to the fact that it is a cardio workout. Try eating 5 smaller meals rather 3 big meals. Eliminate soda because it has a very high sugar volume. The last and equally important factor try to drink a full 64oz of water daily this way your body won't retain water.

try weighwatchers, dont worry you will slim down, your just at a changing point in the growth development. Fifteen pounds sounds like an awful lot anyways. Maybe you can have your mom sign you up for a gym, or run, just eat healthy, you'll be fine. My son at 14 was real heavy, big belly and all, all of a sudden he grew and is so skinny now. Try not to eat too much snacking foods, chips, ice cream, candy

Cardio, 3 days per week plus strength training. Cut down on calories to 2000 per day.
Cardio - walk for 1 hour, or jog for 30 min, or run for 20 minutes
If you have access to other equipment, use them for the same time frame above. This will burn fat and help you burn calories around the clock.
Strength training increases the ability of the muscles to burn calories too. Lifting weights...check any fitness website to find out different exercise to target the areas you want to improve.
Ab crunches: for a fit stomach, better balance, and helps you will all exercises in general.

Maybe you just need to put a little more time exercising. Maybe go jogging regularly or doing some physical activities will help you lose weight. Also, you may want to consider eating vegetables and fruits as they are very healthy and will help you feel better and at the same time lose weight.

I am a little older than you and I can tell you from experience the best way is through cutting out sugars, sodas(even diet ones), being active and drinking plenty of water are the sure ways to not only TAKE off weight but to KEEP it off also.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

eat lots of fruit and vegtables, dont tak emeat out completely, but cut back on it, excersize, u dont have to run, but jog or walk, the fastest way to loose weight is to run steps, its probably oen of the hardes tthing you cant do, run upa nd down steps for 5 or 10 minutes once or twice a day, its gunna hurt like hell, but you have to give a little to get a little

Just by not drinking sodas, tea, or juices you can lose 10 pounds. Drink water only.
