There's this checkout girl I wanna ask out, but you really don't have a lot of time to make your move at a grocery store situation like that...so, how do you make your move quickly, effectively, and with dignity?

or something similar... Alwayz propose 2 go somewhere public, like coffee shop... somewhere 2 grab somethin 2 eat... something nearby where u met her so she doesnt feel stalked or threatened by you. Never ask for personnal stuff like when she finishes work or if she lives nearby and stuff when u ask her out... leave dat for when/if she accepts 2 spend some time with you. She will b da one settin da when and where... but if she is da type of girls dat are shy or dont know what 2 say, well just propose like i said somewhere nearby, anywhere not 2 far away.

Be friendly every time you see her and exchange a little conversation. After a few times of this, ask her out for coffee or a coke after work some day. If shes interested she will accept. If she says shes busy that night, say well what night would you be free. If she is interested she will find a chance , if she isnt, you will know. No harm no foul and you havent lost any dignity. Just dont try jumping down her blouse the first time you actually talk. give it some time. Not everyone is impulsive.

Just say "Don't take this the wrong way, but I've been checking you out while you were "checking" me out and just wanted to know if you wouldn't mind if I called you sometime. (If she gives you her number then you know a date will probably follow). She may not feel comfortable agreeing to go out with you in the check out line, but somehow a phone call is totally different. In a lot of ways it is more intimate than a date and she would feel better about dateing you after she has gotten a chance to chat with you for awhile (outside the checkout line).

Asking a girl for her number isn't a big deal, so don't make it one. Talk to her, be funny, and, if she's responding well, as you turn to leave, turn back and say, "Hey, you got a phone number?" Then you can call her a day or two later and ask her out without worrying about the guy behind you.

Have u ever engaged in convo/small talk while in line? Bring up a restaurant or club or concert that you've heard was great, and ask has she ever been and would she be interested in going with u? I wouldn't accept a date from a casual guy thats never even said 2 words to me but , "plastic's fine." ;o). Build up a decent convo and make your move! Best wishes!!

Start small it's cute, give her a little thank you card saying thank you for your smile it bring a nice end to my day. If she like you she'll let you know.Then ask, would you like to go on a date with me? If she say yes than ask where would you like to go? Leave it up to her where would she like to go, cause we always have a place that we want to go. If not than tell her I would like to get to know you better maybe we can go...... somewhere not loud or quite even going out for lunch is nice short and press for time, reason for a real date later. And this way you can ask her to see her again.

Be natural, be normal, go to her checkout and just ask her when there isnt many people around to be respecful to her privacy and just ask her if she would like to join you for a meal or to go out for a drink (age depending of course) and just try and make it casual and like you just want to get to know her more.

My friends backed out on a get together with me tonite and i need somebody to go because i already made reservations. Then just give her your number and leave, and hope she calls. Just hope shes into you because as i girl i kno that sometimes i get pissed off when guys i am not into bother me for a date.
