The water is too hot it actually dries out your skin. Apply lotion after a hot bath or shower or reduce the temperature of the water.

no i do not know why unless you are allergic to some soap you may be using.. i have something like that and i take medicine all the time for itching.. also benadryll helps too... but i have a precription medicine that is better.. if this continues i suggest you talk to your doctor...but i itch all over... and if i scratch to much it makes sores...hope this helps you some anyway.. you may try lotion to put on and see if that helps.....also there is this liquid soap you get at the pharmacy that suppose to help with this.. i use this but i do not really think it helps..the name of it is bactoshield....and it is for external use only...it is high and i have not really found it to help...there is also an anti-itch ointment that you can use and i have found it to help.. but it wears off too.. you might try not to use such hot water either.. just take a bath in warm water...see if that helps any...

It may be becasue you don't apply a lot of lotion. Moisturize more.
