I have learned that when God calls us to do his work, He has been preparing us for it our whole lives. Whether you sing or preach, you can reach others for the Lord. Keep praying for God's guidance and He will see you through. Our talents are all God given, so if we are actively using them for His service, then we are fulfilling His call. The fact that you are 13 years old and know that God is calling you, lets me know that your desire to serve is real and maybe you should just give it to God and be who you are until He is ready for you.

If God is opening doors for you to sing, by all means walk through them. I'd suggest you also pray that God will show you how/if you are to carry out the call to preach. A combined singing and preaching ministry would certainly be possible; maybe that's what God wants for you. You already seem to know this, but the most important thing is to stay open to God's will and to ask that it be continually revealed to you (and then of course to follow it).

Look, if you have opportunities to start a singing career, then go for it! This life is the only one you have (there is NO proof of anything afterwards), so if you want to do fun, fulfilling things that make you happy, then you must grab those opportunities when they come. Take singing lessons, offer to sing at weddings, parties, or church events, study the careers of your famous favorite singers to see how they got started, and watch their videos to see how they play to the audience to really get everyone involved. If you have any real talent at all, you deserve to use it, improve it, and show it off to others. If God is that important to you, then just think of it as a ministry of singing. Good luck, and I hope you go far!

If you feel like God is calling you to sing then sing. Especially if He has been opening doors for you. As far as the preaching goes Paul wrote in 1 Tim 2:12And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.
This is not a cultural thing we know because he cites Genisis as his reason, so this rules out preaching in a mixed assembly or teaching men.BUT this does not, in any way, mean that you do not have something valuble to offer nor does it negate your ability. If you have the desire and are gifted to teach, then teach women or youth or children. God made us different and gave us seperate roles for a reason but He did not make us any more or any less valuable than the other. I encourage you to continue to be in prayer and follow God's intructions according ot the Scriptures, and it is my hope and prayer that you become a powerhouse for God's kingdom

I agree with John S. Try both, you still have years to get both started. But just as in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Pray without ceasing. Ask God what he is pushing you to do. Maybe he's trying to get you to do something like Jonathan Stockstill, who sings worship songs as a church choir leader and preaches to the world.

If you can sing well then sing. It's a gift from God, If you feel like you need to preach then preach. If it's not meant to be you will know. Most of all pray about it and don't give up.

I started preaching at the age of 18 . And God wants you to use your gifts for him . So take your voice and sing to the glory of God .And preach until Jesus comes back. You are not to young, God just chose you at a very young age. God bless.

It's nice that you're making progress with your singing career.... Within the church seek out important members of the staff who are in charge of running various events, etc and offer to volunteer your assistance --- it's these people who will mentor, educate and help you advance in your spiritual interests...now you're only 13 so be sure to also focus on your schoolwork with the intent of getting into a good college.
