If she is one year old, you DO NOT know she is in good health. You have not done the hip and elbow x-rays that would say weather she is clear of genetic problem like that.
Why would you want to become a backyard breeder and produce unhealthy puppies that some poor family would have to deal with????? Just to make some money off your dog????????

There is NO WAY to say a dog will clear OFA just because the parents have cleared. If the breeder you got your dog from claimed that...they are DEAD WRONG!!!!!! And yes, good breeders have a spay/neuter contract with pet quality dogs, BUT a good breeder would NOT allow a giant breed to be bred at 14 months!!! Good breeders would also DEMAND OFA and other health checks be done BEFORE breeding. Good breeders would also help pick a stud who's line compliment yours and who also has health clearences!!!! You did not get you dog from a good breeder, because no good breeder would approve of asking on Yahoo! Answers to find a stud!!!!!!!!!
Face it, you are either breeding just to have puppies or to make money. The only GOOD reason to breed is to IMPROVE the breed and you would not be doing that.

Well, not to be as snooty as the first responder, but they are correct.
You will need to have a vet do a full battery of e-rays to rule out any genetic problems. You need her bones to be finished growing before these test can be done. You need to wait until she is at least 2 years old. Her bones are still growing and she is still a youngster.
It is inadvisable to breed her before she is two years of age (she will only be about the equivalent of a 13 year old child)
Any reputable breeder will have had their male certified against any genetic faults. They will most likely require an in depth breeding application from you as well, to verify your female is up to standard. Their reputation will be on the line here also.
If all these are not of great importance to you, just breed to any thing and have sub-standard puppies.
Just be aware if you are selling the puppies you will get more for puppies that you can provide a genetically sound background on.
