Sorry to say that if he cheated on his ex-wife he lacks the character to restrain himself and will likely cheat again if a similar situation presents itself. There are always excuses for cheating but in general cheaters repeat their behavior. Sorry!!!

If you're afraid he'll cheat on you just remember that you know he needs attention so as long as you keep him happy, you're safe. This isn't about him changing. This is about him getting his needs met and you making sure that happens.

in his case, i doubt it. if he's done it before it will be easier for him to do it again. being true to your partner is a personal decision. i'd trust someone more if they ended a relationship rather than cheat
