Its called hyperhydrosis. I had it and got the surgery to get it fixed about 7 years ago. I live in Illinois and had to fly to San Francisco to get it fixed because there werent many doctors that knew how to fix it then. Do a search for it and youll find lots of doctors now to fix it. I also got about 80 % of it covered by insurance. What they do is put you out, then they deflate your lungs so they can cut a gland behind them that is causing the excess sweating. They made the incisions under my armpits and the scars are barely visible. I went to like 20 doctors before I found out what it was. I tried all kinds of stuff, like botox injections and even special gloves that were supposed to stimulate the nerves. None of that stuff worked though. The main problem with this surgery is that it makes you retain all the sweat in your body and you can gain weight. I would reccomend doing cardio because it makes you lose weight quickly. Good luck. If you have any other questions let me know.

A great solution for your feet is to use some of the Dr. Scholls products. They have excellent things for sweaty feet. If you don't feel like purchasing something fancy, a little baby powder in the morning in your shoes and on your hands will probably do the trick. ^_^

Hyperhidrosis is a disorder characterized by excessive sweating that occurs in up to 1% of the population. The excessive sweating can occur in the hands (palmar hyperhidrosis), in the armpits (axillary hyperhidrosis), or in the feet (plantar hyperhidrosis). Although nobody understands the exact cause of this excessive sweating in specific individuals, it is known that the sweating is controlled by the sympathetic nervous system.
You should absolutely see your physician for this condition. There are many things he/she can give you to alleviate the symptoms.

When the thyroid glands releases thyroxine in bigger quantities than usual this kind of things happen. You sweat a lot in your palms & feet and it makes you skinny. You better see a doctor.

Deal with it .. in my experience people who sweat like this have an inner motor that is insatiable, unstoppable and very sensuous. Your condition, my friend, is a blessing more than a curse. I dated a woman like that for a while ... never forget her. So look at the bright side.

My daughter-in-law has this genetic condition and so does her baby girl. She can't use hand lotion and there is nothing that helps her outside of drying her hands a lot. Ask a doctor. Maybe something new has come out recently.
