You have several good, accurate, and sincere answers to your question. I know I will go to heaven because the Bible says there is an after life. All of us will go to heaven or hell.

The Bible also tells us how to take the necessary action now to insure we will go to heaven. It is not a tourist trap, as one answer stated. This is just the argument of someone who really doesn't know, and is scared to find out the truth.

I know because I have lived in hell on earth, imprisoned by drugs, self-reliance, and many other earthly "traps" (for the tourist). I have studied, I have searched for years, and now I have been free from all of that for a quarter of a century, plus; only because I finally surrendered my will to God's will, trusted Him, and followed His directions.

I had tried everything else, and this was the only thing that was real. LSD got me to a place where I could see all of this, but I was still separated from it. Only Jesus got me there. I have to surrender to Him on a daily basis, do what He asks, (which is much better than my deciding on my own) and my life is fullfilling, rich, and blessed.

Yes. Scripture tells us that when we die, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. If you are not born again you can not see or understand this. You will want proof. I can't give it to you because you can not believe it. Jesus told the Teacher of Israel that 'unless you are born again, you can not "see" the kingdom of God (John 3: 3). All the intellect in the world will not work. Its like trying to describe something to a blind person who has never had sight. I know am going to heaven because God told me. But a lost person can not see it. That's the best I can do.

All go to heaven that's where God and judgment is.

But on which side of the gulf?

Ecc 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Being in heaven means "to be One with God (To See Him face to face). Yes i know i will go to heaven, Because I (100%)

1- Accept Jesus as my Christ and Savior
2- Read the Bible so that His words abide in me
3- Regularly pray in Christ's name to the Father

Through this God guides me in every thing (I even see Him in my dreams) So I am sure I am going to meet Him, when I leave this world (Home Coming)

Well the bible says if thou has confess out your mouth and believe that Jesus has died and been raised from the dead you shall be saved.
When you get saved you are giving your life over to the control of God, which means you will study the word(bible) and follow what it says and you will go to heaven.

Yes, I am 100% certain. The Bible was written by God. God does not lie. The Bible says in 1John 5:13, "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God."

I have put my trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. By this I KNOW that I will obtain eternal life. Man, there are SO many great and precious promises to those who believe.

John 10:9
Jesus said, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."

Romans 5:9
Much more then, being now justified by [Jesus'] blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

Heaven is where God is. Earth is where you are.

Here are the facts: You are born, you live (suffer), you die.

So your real question is: Is there live after death. If so, where will that life be?

How do you want that question to be answer? Observation? I think not. Then by revealation..

Limiting to the Christian message: Jesus died, God raised Jesus, and Jesus will come again. When Jesus died, he was dead. There is nothing documented about Jesus being conscious when he was in the grave. When Jesus was resurrected (God raised him the death), Jesus never spoke of being dead but that he was on the right hand side of God (in God's favored). Jesus left to go to his father (God). [See Gospels for details]. Heaven is where God is, and Jesus is with God. Jesus has eternal life in heaven.

What about the rest of us? When we died, we are dead, waiting for the resurrection. But is that it? No. Our hope is for eternal life. That is the promise of Christ, eternal life.

To your question: if we believe the Christian message, then we will be dead and we hope for resurrection. Then we will be with God, and heaven is where God is.

You hav probably heard of this one and all people who truly love Christ know this as His promise.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

But what really takes the cake is this verse... please read it slowly.

"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand." (John 10:28)

Imagine that! "NO ONE CAN SNATCH TEM OUT OF HIS HAND!" This an amazing an very clear promise.

He even gave an example on why we should be assured of this salvation.

One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!"

But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong."

Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."

Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:39-43 )
