From what i read in the bible, the only 'proof' that Adam loved Eve was that he ate from the tree too. Kinda thin proof in my eyes.

The proof that they didn't is in my eyes much larger. The problems their kids had between eachother, is usually a sign of a not so loving family.

Did he truly love Eve, or was it just love by default?

No
If you never have been in love how can you measure it?
What do you compare love too?

If indeed Adam and Eve existed, no one can answer that question but Adam. No one can't ever know what another is truly feeling except that person because it is his/her feeling. Assumptions can be made, but all feelings belong to the person feeling it. You'll have to find Adam and ask. Good luck with that!

I think that one clue to how Adam felt about Eve was the name he chose for her Havah, meaning that she was the mother of all life. It suggest respect for her as a woman, matriarchal figure, and the common mother all would look to in the human race. Remember that the Hebrew worldview was very much for life...Choose life!, the book of Deuteronomy tells us, meaning we should chose ways of living that are full and abundant.

Yes, they had family problems and difficult times, according to the story. They were humans, not any different than we are in many respects.

Well, Adam ate the apple Eve gave him.
For me this means complete submission and giving in and letting the other person control you completely. He recognized that the woman rules, he ate from her hand!
What other reason could have caused that... other than LOVE?

My belief is that Adam was head-over-heels wiped-out crazy in love with Eve!

Proof? None.

Of course he did. Where have you been in the last ten thousand years? Adam sinned against God because of his love for Eve. What love huh!!.

You might as well ask, "Has a man ever loved a woman?" You'll never know, until you are a man willing to sacrifice all, to be with her. I mean ALL!

Did Jesus love us? You might as well ask, "Has God ever loved us?" You'll never know, until you are willing to sacrifice all, to be with us. I mean ALL!

There is a parallel here, that you are supposed to pick up on when you read the bible.

The answer to both questions is yes.

I don't know if it is written or no. I don't know how to proove that he loved her but I try to imagine how it would be life then without love? The first humans loved by God whitout being in love? Something is not ok.

and 'love by default' sounds awful.
