I am a very nice guy, so people normally sh!t on me, but my mother gave me life after carrying me for nearly nine months. I don't think there is anything kinder a person can do for you.

Five years ago I had moved into a new neighborhood and knew no one there. I had a job which brought me home late most nights. My son who was 7 at the time was too young to cook and would either eat left overs or come to my work place after school and wait till I was finished, which would be well past his bed time. This went on for about 2 weeks till one night I came in so tired & hungry but was just not in shape to try to figure out what to eat. I had resigned myself to going to bed hungry.The moment I closed the door behind me, there was a knock. I checked and saw that it was my neighbor 2 doors down. I opened & there she was arms outstretched with a huge covered bowl saying "I know it's kind of late, but I thought you might be hungry since you get in so late night & may not have time to prepare something." She had actually stayed up till I came in. I was so touched by this. I sat down in front of my door & began to cry. In all the years I had been in this country & had helped other people out, no one had ever done something even close to this for me. And this was a person I had never spoken to. I won't ever forget, that totally changed my outlook on the human race..

Actually at work last night, I was running slightly late, I clocked in ONE MINUTE late, and I was kind of mad about it, but at FedEx, late is late. So I went to my work area, and a few minutes later, my team leader came up to me, and told me to take my time card and tear it up and throw it away, because she had already clocked me in on time, I was SOOO relieved, I take pride in my attendance at work, it really effects your raise.

Now, that being said, that is probably not the kindest thing someone has ever done for me, but its the most recent, and it has stuck with me all day, because I was really upset!

The kindest thing that someone ever did for me was to love me in spite of all my faults and weaknesses.

Here's two:

1.) This gal told me that she loved me.

This one will sound silly but,
2.) My mum sharing 9 months of her life with me. I've had some great experiences and seen and done a lot. Without being born I wouldn't have had that.

Sitting up with me all night as I waited for a family member to come out of surgery.

Offering to pay my medical insurance when I was sick and couldn't do it.

Just being my friend for a long time through some very trying times.

well there have been many kind acts in my life, but this is the most recent. i got fired from my job a couple of weeks ago, one of my clients grows lemon trees, i was in her office a week before i got fired, and complimented her on her lemon tree plant. well i went back to the office where i worked to pick up my expense check, and there was the lemon tree plant! that sweet lady brought it to me with a card that said, when life gives you lemons, save the seed and grow a tree! by the way, she had no idea that i had been fired

Ok, several things;
When my daughter died, my girl friend sat on my bed and sang to me. She also brought her 5 kids to see me because I was so close to them.
For my husband for finding me unconscious and calling 911, also all the doctors for saving my life. For my nurse, Paul, who didn't leave my side the first 24 hours.

My parents did their best in raising me and then funding my college education, making it possible for me to now pay them back and help them during their senior years.
