Hair grows out of follicles right? Is it normal to have follicles all over your face?

I've never really cared enough to really examine every little inch of my face in the mirror until yesterday, now I'm really worried. I have these visible little holes in the middle of my face (between my eyebrows above my nose) as well as on the cheek skin joining the nose and when i looked even closer, I saw tiny tiny hair growing from each of the holes. Is this normal, or is this something I should go see a dermatologist for?

I'm a girl, and I'm sure beards do not grow in between your eyebrows...

I don't know what to call it, follicles or pores, all I know is that there are hairs growing out of it (tiny and only visible really up close) and I'd like to know if this is normal or a problem.

No, you can't see them unless up close.

I think you are talking about enlarged pores, this is probably a cry from your skin.There is not need to worry, drink alot of water keep your skin hydrated. that happened to me , I think my skin was beggin for moisture, and more water. It really happened to me after a night out of drink with my girlfriends. try to use less alochol based facial product use Atringent, with hazel anything that is natural becaue those other products can mess up you skin in the long run. use a good moisturizer that won't clog your pores and that has sun protectect in it for the sun.
like every one mentioned that is your pore that you see, the hair follicle is in the skin which you will not see, unless you puck the hair stand.

Drink alot of water take you vitamin you are what you eat, it you don't see results in a week or two got to the dermatologist.

i'm thinking it sounds like pores. and you said that they are tiny hairs? that's normal. sometimes they get darker. could be hormonal----but seriously, do you see them when you don't stare at your face up close? would anybody else notice them? consult your dermatologist if it drives you crazy. you can do laser to kill the follicle ( in the pore ) or perhaps you just need a pore minimizer.

even girls have a tiny layer of peach fuzz on their faces. just leave it alone and don't try to remove it cause other wise you'll start looking like a cat. it could also just be large pores you can use a pore refiner on them to make the pores look smaller but it won't affect the hairs

yes we all have hair on our face they are very fine and very short ...and usually light colored and you can't really see them unless you look very close........everyone has these types of hair on their face.....they will not keep growing longer they will stay the same........that's why you never noticed it before they are very hard to see.......and I am sure they serve a purpose...we all have it.........they dark coarse hair is another story ...your fine ..we all are
