does any one know whether or not lance armstrong intends to ride in any other competitve races other than the toyr de france? or if he plans on just riding for fun ?

Other than the rides for cancer research, he does not plan on racing in anymore races. He is now a consultant on the Discovery Pro Cycling Team and I think he's headed to France to ride with Johan Bruyneel who is the coach of the team. As far as racing in the event I don't think he will be competing

He's said he'll run the Chicago Marathon this year.

And there's speculation he'll do an Ironman triathlon (which was his original sport before cycling)

But his pro cycling career is done.

However... there are lots of retired pro's who get bored after a few years and start racing again as amateurs in the "masters" age categories.

Am not sure that Lance would understand the concept of "Fun". But reckon he would ride for charity, and maybe sponsorshiop stuff but pro cycling - no he's stopped now.

I've heard he is considering riding once again in the Tour de France.

unlike mercx or indurian, lance ONLY rode the tour and that was all he could do. heck of an athelete?yes,marvelous specimen of human?yes,type a bunghole?yes.

As far I as I know he's done. Just recreational riding I suppose.

He does newspaper routes in Brooklyn.
