The cheapest ones. It doesn't matter they all follow the same path and will work in all cd players.

Verbatim CD-R AUDIO (Music Life CD-RW), they are however not well suited for data purposes.

I have been working wit different brands of CD-R's since 1999 and i would say that Verbatim is the best brand on the market. SOny is also good but the top layer of some of my sony disks have started peeling off and are no longer accessable.

Cheap disks are cheap for many reasons. Cake boxes/Spindles are cheaper becuase you don't get jewel cases. The other thing that makes them cheap is the chemical dyes used on the disks.

Chemical dyes will affect the longevity of the data on the disk, among other things Cheaper brands like Princo and longten use cheaper dyes (very cheap) and sometimes after writting the disk is bad. Most of the princos i have used have started to develop bad blocks (Not all though) due to the dyes deteriorating over time. Enviromental factors also affect longevity and reliablity of disks.

TDK is also another brand i praise highly but i haven't used it as much as verbatim.
