As most of you know Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, and in my opinion both religions are obviously very flawed in their scriptures, but Christianity much more so. Not only are there so many contradictions in the Bible the fondation the religion itself is built upon is shaky.

Why is it that Jesus is nonexistant in literature from the time in which he lived. He was supposedly well known for performing these glorious miracles but any evidence that is left of him comes from those after his time. There is absolutely no evidence that the central figure of Christianity even lived. With this in mind I find it hilarious that Christians think that non-Christians will go to hell(If there is such a thing). That would be a genocide worse than the halocaust...

While Islam has its blatent flaws itself its holy book has remained intact over the years and proof of its main figure can be had.

So how long until Islam overtakes Christianity?

No it is definately not a popularity contest, althogh some make it out to be. And we can definately not judge who is right in this life, again although some try and think they can. Just an honest question.

I give up, people will never learn to read lol, I said Jesus was nonexistant from literature from his time, which is mndbogglong with him walking around performing all these miracles. And Josephus was born in 37 A.D, didn' t Christ supposedly die before that?

Islam has already overtaken christianity in taking more people to hell though both religions have equal representation in people waiting at the gates of hell.

Well, your facts are not very factual.
First Islam will probably take Europe by next 25 years-no doubt. Here you may have a point. Not any indication of a resurgence of Christianity there-there is absolutely no base to start from.
In the US it probably will not happen. The South East is solid and growing more Christian. The West Coast and the extreme North East is hopeless. The rest of the country is ply-able.
Jesus is nonexistent in literature??? Go to any library-there is more written on Jesus that any other subject. Maybe in libraries where they are so anti-God that they deliberately purge all books on Jesus your statement may be true. But that is not the case most everywhere.

Actually, the writings of the Jewish historian, Josephus, do document the life of Jesus Christ. And though Islam is a religion built around a false prophet named Muhammed, even Muslims believe that Jesus lived (that he was merely a prophet). Just ask any Arab speaking person who Isi is.

Muhammed was born apporoximately 583 years after Jesus died, and any coinciding Quranic references were actually plagiarised from the original Holy Book, the Bible.

As far as the "popularity" of a religion goes, the question is moot. Being wise in these last of the last days is not about being popular, it's about being prepared.

This will take too much time, appx 70 or more years.

The Islam would not stop even if the middle eastern nations may not survive after 25-30 years bcz at that time, the ISLAM would have been well spreaded in the non-Muslim world of this time :).

I agree that Islamic countries are relatively poor, but Islam is still the fastest growing religion.
I agree that the Islamic world has no big military Power, but Islam is still the fastest growing religion.
I agree that the non-muslim world is collectively trying to present it as a terrorist religion, but Islam is still the fastest growing religion.
WHY?
bcz in any case, it has to spread, it has to overtake Christianity and the other religions.

I don't believe it will actually -- I've looked at the statistics and I am extremely unconvinced.

Two things stand in their way. The end of oil is coming -- whether we are ready or not -- the Middle East is not their biggest population, but it is their greatest economic powers. Oil will end as a significant product within 25 or so years, some will continue to be used for fertilizer and as feed stock for plastic, but its use as primary fuel will end -- it increasingly is evident the Western civilizations are going to survive another paradigm shift in energy -- so -- they will survive the shift.

The Islamic middle eastern nations on the other hand -- denied their primary source of income -- may not survive. They have to have water and food for a population way out of step with the carrying capacity of a desert... It is not a good scenario.

the Islamic third world countries are in even worse shape when a switch occurs -- as are the Christian ones --- but more of Islam's people are concentrated in vulnerable third world countries, as compared to Christianity.

I think the shake out over the next 50 - 75 years will leave Islam in a weaker comparative position than it is now.

As far as Islam being superior, I must disagree. I have many, many friends who grew up in Islam, they have convinced me that the faith is utterly morally bankrupt -- no matter what its original intention.

I also see that bankruptcy when I look at the suppression of women, the murder of little boys that happen to be gay, the blatant lies covering the latter up, and the mindless devotion to scripture which is, frankly, no more accurate than Christian scripture is, particularly since it recognizes Christian scripture according to my understanding.

Additionally, both the Virgin Mary and Christ as a prophet are recognized by Islam. Christ's position in Islam is similar to a certain degree to his position in Mormonism. Islam recognizes him as a prophet and pays great homage to his mother Mary, while Mormonism treats him as a Messiah that failed, more or less.

So if Christ didn't exist, then he didn't exist for Islam either, nor did Mary.

Regards,

Reyn

PS. We vote for the pagans with the girl above -- I hope it does win out, I'd convert to paganism, I would not to Islam.

What difference does it make? Truth has nothing to do with popularity, as anyone should recognize. Furthermore, if you could somehow prove Christianity or Judaism false in basic premisses, then Islam would go down in flames right along with them, I can assure you. It depends on too many of those same basic premisses. As you would know, if you studied.

No clue how long, but, I know that Paganism's right up there with catching up to Christianity. Once it's Second, Paganism will knock it into third, and one day, Pagans will be the biggest group.

Thus so changing the pledge to:

"One nation, under Artemis, Athena..."

Okay, kidding about the pledge. xD

I don't know where you get your information, but your argument is swiss cheese, considering that Islam was a mere mutation of the Christian disease from the start. Not to mention Muhammed was a rapist and a drug addict who based his religion on hallucinations....
