If you are a Christian who believes Jesus is God, do you worship Jesus' mother as well? since she is god's mommy, according to your beliefs?

The worship of Mary is a tradition of the Roman Catholic Church. If you'll take a close look at the Bible, no where is Mary ever worshipped and no where are we ever told to worship her though she is held in a very special place in that she was the chosen woman to bring the incarnation of God into this world. So, the early Church, the true Catholic Church before it was centered in Rome did not believe nor teach the worship of Mary. Check it out. Hope that helps.

Of courfse Jesus is God, but he was also human for a short time, with human emotions also, so his mom would have been special to him.
But no christian religion worships mary, since she was only blessed and special. She is a saint within some faiths and is honored greatly but not worshiped

Christians do not worship mary, she is simply jesus' mom.
She was a wonderful person and of course he loved her, because he asked a deciple to take care of her as if she were his own mom, when he was dying on the cross.
some catholics worship her, they think she has some equality to Jesus, but this is false. Jesus is Lord, and of course he's God's Son so he is as powerful.
Mary is just his mom

No Mary is just a human and so she is in the same need of redemption as the rest of us, however Jesus the Christ was both human and God or should I say God in the flesh and because He is God he is worthy to be worshipped

ok, it's VIRGIN MARY and yes as a catholic, we do worship mary because she is the mother of god. although i went with my ex and his mother to a baptist service at her church on mother's day, and that was weird. the pastor or preacher, stated that mary was just an ordinary woman like everyone else, except that she chose to listen to and follow god's calling on her. he kept on and on about how she is just an ordinary human woman no different or any more special than anyone else who answers god's call. he also said specifically that to believe any different or to pay honor to her is taking it away from god/jesus, who is the only one u should praise, and it is PAGAN! he actually used the word pagan! so i had to sit there and listen to this man call my religion, my beliefs, the way i was raised, everything i know, pagan! it was a little uncomfortable for me, if u can imagine! anyway, how can he say that mary was "just another woman"? obviously she was more than that, or god would not have choosen her to be the mother of jesus! duh!

This isn't an attack on Mary since even born-again Christians recognized her as a model of faith. A truly extraordinary woman.
But the Bible says that there is only one mediator and that is Jesus Christ.
"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5)

No. I don't worship Mary. She was a simple, devoted, Jewish girl, chosen by God to be the vessel through which Jesus was to come into the world. She was the envy of all the Jewish women of that day...each one hoped to bear the promised Messiah!

Mary was blessed to bring forth Jesus, the son of God, born in the flesh to her.
Mary is not greater than Jesus, she died. The bible never tells us to worship her. Only the Catholics do that.
