Where do new cars that don't sell go? From years ago, like 2000's.?

They are all sold...they just get marked down. The dealership will keep them on the back lot for as long as it takes to sell off and will offer the salespeople a small bonus if they move one of the old models.

They are all sold. Some went to dealer only wholesale auctions or offered to rental companies

rental companys get newer one and put some miles on it then sell it as a used car.
