Alot of hospitals have programs where once your in the door you can bid on other jobs that are usally posted. if you have no degree they also offer different courses that will help you become more educated on jobs that you might be interested in. For starters you could apply for a job in housekeeping.or in the kitchen,or maybe in the cafeteria or gift shop. Once you get in your options already start to get better. They have alot of good payraises, benefit plans, dental, vacation .It's a good place to start good luck!

Someone mentioned phelbotomy but you would need to have training and certification. There are other lab positions like a lab clerk. Also dietary aid where you not only work in the kitchen putting food trays together, but deliver meals, pick up menus from patients, etc Security, janitorial, admissions clerk. Most hospitals these days have a website with employment opportunities listed so you can check there as far as what is available.

If you have any interest in secretarial jobs, contact your local hospitals about being a unit secretary. You may have to take a class, usually offered by the hospital, before you can get the job.

Have you looked into CMA(certified medical assistant) or CNA(certified nursing assistant)? They pay well and you don't need a college degree, just some school.
