Talk with your doctor and see if you might be having medical reasons like thyroid problems which could make you tired and lack motivation to do things. Or (more likely) depression, which doesn't always mean you have negative thoughts. Depression comes in all forms, the most common is a general lack of interest in everyday things or doing things. What appears to be laziness can actually be imbalances in your physical chemisty (depression).

You might also talk with a therapist about it. Could be the way you were raised. For instance if your parents spoiled you, this could lead to laziness when you're older. Not learning chores and responsibility in the formative years makes for couch potato adults.

There are a lot reasons a person is lazy but if you feel this isn't your "real" personality then talking with a doctor or therapist would be a good course of action. At least you can rule out some things and start a less lazy path in life.

Good luck and I hope this helps.

just get up and pump it(not masturbation), start exercising. pretend that you have a lot of energy, and soon you'll have the real thing. instead of drinking coffee or taking something with sugar sweet in the morning because you think it will give you a lot of energy, stop. sugar only gives you short bursts of energy. an apple or some fruit gives even more energy and doesn't run out fast. you just have to eat several small healthy snacks a day to keep your energy up. try to make a list of what needs to be done, and things that can wait. do things that make you happy, even if its stupid like dancing crazily in the public which might make you happy. don't do things that will make you happy but others not so happy because later it will make you unhappy. think of the benefits, being not lazy and more responsible will have a great positive effect. like washing the dishes will make the person who usually does it happy, or will make everything neat and nice and ready for the next use. paying bills on time not slacking in your job will save you more money and maybe earn you more money. starting these things early will help people live successful lives in the future.

OK, first like anything else, you have got to want to.
second...make sure there isn't an over-riding medical problem keeping you on a low...
also....question your imput...if you have concerns with your output..{what are you eating?}
OK now heres the easy part....{wanting to... is the hard part}
do ANYTHING!! find something you like to do, ride a bike , skate-board, hackey sack,
walk around the outside your house twice..if nothing else comes to mind...
the trick is...you only get 15 minutes, that's it...no more....put the timer on and you have to stop...even if you start to enjoy yourself...stop.
hopefully this will leave you thinking all day...that was cool, 15 minutes..i can do that! {your trying to change your way of thinking, not loose weight or, begin an exercise program...so we need to change your BRAIN!!}

15 mins....first week...

then give yourself a gift....2 times a day...your favorite thing....15 mins..
just be sure what ever you choose...its something that increases you heart rate and your breathing {and something that won't discourage you!!!}

BE ACCOUNTABLE TO YOURSELF!!!
YOU CAN DO IT!!!
copy, cut and paste good quotes, make um BIG!!!
heres some to start and a great web site for more!!

start small , go big!(start by READING a comic, mag or other pictorial books instead of occupying your time on the net or in front of the tube or on the phone. (that will get your brain more active then you go to the next step when bored do something productive like sweep the floor but not with a broom get creative and make it fun invite a friend or make one up with your imagination ,pretend your fav celebrity gets turned on when you do things that are productive. also make things that are so boring that you dont want to do like READING into a song so that every word sounds like you're singing, looooong trips (snoozer) busted radio. hey i bet the only reason that guy driving in front of got that bmw was to score with that chic(HOLY CRAPPER BATBOY thats no dame it is a dame, a gr8 dame with a blonde wig on, freaky! get it? good.gr8! stop reading this or you haven't learned anything! really! go! NOW!!

Do you know WHY you wanted to BE lazy?! Since you had lazy down to a fine art...Maybe now that you no longer WANT to be lazy...you will set goals for yourself...make a list of things that you want to do. Each day you awaken, consider it a good day...If you start your day with a positive attitude, you will be able to accomplish the things you want to do. PS. Don't make such a long list that it becomes overwhelming....

Do not label yourself. IF you know what lazy is then you know what to do to stop being lazy. Start a work journal and do something productive for each hour for 20 hours a day. Good Luck!

Sometimes I feel so tired for no reason. Maybe its just the summer heat here. One method I use to get out of feeling lazy is just to drink lots of caffeine and energy drinks. Stuff like coffee and Red Bull. Boost me up and I can't sit still.

The idea is to get right up from bed and start doing things. Don't sit down and think about it. Work yourself into a routine.

Maybe start out with a long walk which will get you motivated to do more.

Make a little schedule out for yourself........step by step and determine to follow it....no matter how you feel.

The trick is to know what you're going to do ahead of time so you don't "think" about it - just do it.

If I start thinking about it, I can talk myself right out of doing anything........so I don't.

Peace to you too.

No one is lazy ... except in the judgement of others.

But ask yourself, what motivates you? Power? Fame? Money? Applause? Sex? Survival?

Use the acquitition of whatever moves you to move you! MAKE A PLAN AND DO IT NOW!
