My husband recently began thinking about getting circumcised. Oddly enough i've never been with a circumcised man and didn't really know how to respond when he told me he was thinking about having it done? Is it really any different at all? Has anyone been in a similar situation? Well any answers/advice would help really.

i'm surprised there are men who AREN'T circumcised. i think circumcised men look prettier..

Why? after all this time, and to be honest honey, it is better with the skin there is a difference. I watched a documentary on this matter, and some doctors say that it isn't really necessary and sometimes if it is not done correctly some of the penis is cut off, but they were referring to the babies. Also, they showed men who had been circumcised, who are know getting the skin back on. They go through some process of pulling the skin down from the penis and strapping a weight at the end. This one guy did it and his wife said that the sex was better with the skin, I must agree with her. It is like the ultimate condom with ridges, they can imitate, but never duplicate. Well, good luck.

This is certainly good medical advice to both of you BUT he have to refrain from any activities for at least 8 days!

Get him lots of beer. No sex for awhile I would guess. Personally , I don't think I would do it becase of the pain and I like to have as many nerves there as possible. They say its easier to clean though. I was snipped at birth.

Sorry I can't help with your question but this is what we did for a co-worker who was going in for a Circumcison:
We all chipped in money to hire a stripper to visit him the following day!..... tear them stitches girl... get him to tear them stiches....

I hear that if men do it at an older age it will hurt more.
