Yes, there isn't any. Herpes is caused by a virus. Actually, there is little cure for viruses nowadays. The only thing that you can generally do in the case of a viral infection is strengthen the immune system and hope it fights it off. Not with Herpes, the immune system can't win against it. Thus you only get to treat the symptoms. Once you're infected, it stays with you for life. So don't get infected.

Personal experience. I have had genital herpes for over 5 years.

If he doesn't tell her, someone should. It's terrible that he isn't disclosing that he has herpes to her - she can contract it from him whether he has an outbreak or not. Someone needs to tell her before she discovers she's got herpes - which has no cure.

Yes! Tell her! She might not believe you, but that's her problem. At least if you tell her, you know you did the right thing. It's tough that he's your friend, but the fact that you already broke off your long friendship over his dishonesty shows you've got the guts to stand up for what's right. So yes, definitely tell her ASAP!

Just because the guy has a hairpiece is no reason to get all excited, he is probably ashamed of being bald ,, I wouldn't tell her ,, let her find out on her own, sooner or later it will fall off and she will see it then !!!

When it comes to someones health being put at risk then YES you should tell her. What she chooses to do after she is informed is her right. Would you want to be with someone who had a STD and no one told you?

You should tell her.
After all, wouldn't you want someone to tell you if your boyfriend had a sexually transmitted disease and he hadn't told you and apparently wasn't ever going to tell you?
