What do the Amish think of black people? I ask because I thought about Mormans and how they don't think highly of black people and I just started to wonder about the Amish.

Amish/Mennonites (Anabaptists) believe that all are created in God regardless of color. We have the same creator.
Amish/Mennonites abstain from the world, not from certain colors.

Yes I do expect an Amish person to answer my questions about accepting black people because they do use computers. The parents allow their(Amish) teens to leave the community to live in the world as we do in which they can use computers, watch TV,etc. , for a length of time to decide if they want to live as Amish in their adult lives. So, my question is: Would the Amish accept black people to join their religion or way of life?

I don't think they see any difference in color. I grew up in Amish country in Indiana.There was an Amish family that had black kids. Amish is a religion,not a race.The mother(a black) had become Amish and then got married to a white Amish man. They were acepted by their community.

There was a reality show on TV a couple years ago called "Amish in the City" Where they took a bunch of Amish young adults and made them live in LA with "normal" kids one of whom was a black girl.... they were truly fascinated with her.

I doubt if Amish care about black people, and I also bet their are amash black people! I know I am one!
