As in any kind of civil dis-obedience, you should not do it if you are not prepared to be prosecuted for breaking the law.
Of course if everybody who didn't like something about what the government was doing didn't pay taxes, there would be no taxes paid, and we would not have a country. No police, not army, no money, etc.

Whoa kay. No, you cannot claim exemption from income taxes if you're an american citizen, a lawfully admitted alien, or a permanent resident alien. If you earn under $10,000 - there is still income tax DUE, it's just very minimal.
If you refuse to pay income tax, for any reason, especially if you disagree with the policies of the government, you can be put in prison. If you make a big noise about not paying taxes, you're far MORE likely to go to prison.
If you dislike the policies of our government, there is a procedure by which you can express yourself and attempt to change those policies. It's called "contacting your congressman."
We do not get to unilaterally decide what we do and don't support by withholding our taxes.

They already are. church homes and each and each body is already exempt from the IRS. Its in simple terms that some human beings "volunteer" to make up an organization and phone it a church which, then, they arrive over into their area. The IRS (theirs) is an organization itself it really is owned through the Federal Reserve so, who're they actually? Why have they were given all this potential? Any jury might want to nullify some thing that they do antagonistic to absolutely everyone. i think of their in undemanding words status is with the firms.

Hi Cher -
Under special circumstances, you can claim exempt. For example, you can claim exempt if you are a student. You may still need to file a tax return at the end of the year, however.
For more information, get a copy of Circular E from the IRS at www.IRS.gov.
Hope this helps-

If you expect to make less then 10,000 a year and you made less then 10,000 the year before you can claim exempt.
But you still have to do your taxes come tax season, but you will most likley get everything you paid in back.
Claiming exempt doesn't stop them from taking taxes out.

The government would come after you, I would not recommend that. The thing the government doesn't tolerate is tax protesters and evaders. You don't fool around with IRS or you will go to jail.

Yes, but what your forgetting is that illegals with children, on top of everything else, even if they don't make a dime, they still get the child care credit on a return.
Even if they walked in April15th.

Yep-they would be on you like a flea on a dog.
Homestanders and Child care and high Medcial there is many cuts if you qualify.
What I don't understand is how someone gets money back if they have "not" worked and were getting Aid (children). I have seen &2,000.00 and more on returns--who's money is that?
