In less than 20 years there will be no glaciers in Glacier National Park. Polar bears are having a tough time with a shorter period of time(due to shrinking ice) to pursue their prey(seals). If Greenland alone were to lose its ice sheet( 1,833,900 sq,Km and as much as 3 km thick, 10% of the available freshwater on earth, the oceans could rise as much as three feet, enough of a difference to flood every major port city on earth. I have read the Bible. The New Testament. But I don't recall reading about global warming.

First of all, the Earth does not have a fever. I suppose you are speaking figuratively, but this sort of language only serves to cloud the issue and confuse explanations.
Scientists have examined current data as well as historical records, geologic clues, evidence from ice cores, and other data I am probablly not familiar with in order to determine that the average global temperature is higher than it has been in 400 years, not the 2000 you mention.
Scientists actually have a number of explanations for this, the main one centering on the process called global warming. The rate at which human activity is adding gases which trap heat to the atmosphere has been steadily increasing over the past 200 years. This is enough to explain some of the change, though there is some debate as to how much of the change is due to Earth's natural cycles of heating and cooling. It can be argued that we are still in the thawing period from the last ice age.
In terms of biblical signs of the second coming, or the first if you happen to be Jewish, the Bible is appropriately vague about the specifics. It is possible to say that there are Bible verses which link current events to future events described in the Bible. However, such connections are tenuous at best and not approved by biblical scholars or Canon law.
I hope this was helpful and you don't just disregard it as some secular science jerk who wants to stomp on God and everything religious.

The earth is hotter than its been in over 400 years? A good trick considering temperature records have only been kept for a little over 100 years. It does appear the earth is in a warming trend but I say it is the normal cyclical patterns of the earth. There have been at least 4 ice ages with obvious warmer periods in between. So the fact that the earth is warmer is not of sign of the second coming, armegeddon, the birth of the anti-christ, or any other such nonsense.

Actually science has predicted this. It doesn't often make it to the papers though.
While I was studying cultural Anthropology and Archaeology in college we studied Ice ages pretty extensively.
An ice age happens every 5,000 years or so. Before each ice age there is a natural period of warming.
Right now the the warming before another ice age.
This is all just another cycle of the earth. Now it has been shown that people have sped up the process a small amount but not more than 1%.
You can turn to religion if you want but there really isn't much we can do.

Science CAN explain this.
What is Global Warming?
The Earth as an ecosystem is changing, attributable in great part to the effects of globalization and man. More carbon dioxide is now in the atmosphere than has been in the past 650,000 years. This carbon stays in the atmosphere, acts like a warm blanket, and holds in the heat — hence the name ‘global warming.’
The reason we exist on this planet is because the earth naturally traps just enough heat in the atmosphere to keep the temperature within a very narrow range - this creates the conditions that give us breathable air, clean water, and the weather we depend on to survive. Human beings have begun to tip that balance. We've overloaded the atmosphere with heat-trapping gasses from our cars and factories and power plants. If we don't start fixing the problem now, we’re in for devastating changes to our environment. We will experience extreme temperatures, rises in sea levels, and storms of unimaginable destructive fury. Recently, alarming events that are consistent with scientific predictions about the effects of climate change have become more and more commonplace.
God's rapture isn't doing this, man's stupidity is.

Yes, science can explain this. It is one of two things, Global Warming, or it is either just a cycle that the earth goes through. Scientists have shown that the earth goes through cycles of hot and cold weather; think of the ice ages. The reason why the Middle Ages were so awful (with health problems and so forth), is because the earth dropped just a mere 4 degrees. Those 4 degrees caused crops to fail, and weather to be colder. Then everything just happened in a chain reaction. Now we are in a warm period. Scientists think the Ice Ages and Warm periods like now to be in direct correlation with one another. Once it gets warm enough the ice caps melt and then over time it starts to get cold again and then we are back in an ice age. This cycle happens about every 18,000 years.

First no it really is not that much hotter according to alot of scienctiest
Next most likely the earth normally cools and gets hoter,
( think of the ice age for example, it came and then it went)
Next the majority of US scienctist only predict at best a 1 degree increase in the next 100 years.
I would say it has to do with normal climate changes the earth just goes though.

Actually the report is going back 400 years as far as scientists can estimate within reasonable accuracy - and COULD be the hottest its ever been for "several" millennia - meaning since the dawn of Biblical time. In other words - the earth has never been this hot since the beginning.
God in the Old Testament says he will destroy those who destroy the earth and thats what mankind is doing. Killing the Earth. They rob it of resources faster than she can replace it, causing all kinds of meyhem with polution and the eating away of the Ozone.
When Jesus comes back.., he will be doing some major house cleaning.

SO--NOW THE FAR RIGHT BELIEVES THAT GLOBAL WARMING DOES EXIST--NOW THAT IT'S BREATHING DOWN OUR NECKS---Sweetness Jesus never said he would return in 2000 years--and the Bible is very clear on no one knowing when--and that certainly doesn't have a damned thing to do with the weather--science has got a very good clue as to why this is all happening and if you need Bible verses to back up these claims that evidently someone has been putting into your head---I suggest you take it all back to them and let them support these statements with whatever Biblical proof they have !!!!

It's called global warming. The CO2 gases from cars and factory's are causing the green house effect and making the earth hotter. Ozone layer is being damaged by pollution and getting thinner allowing harmful UV rays through that can damage peoples skin. Sea levels are getting higher coz the ice caps are melting due to pollution.
