You have.....HIDRADENITIS SUPPURATIVA

H.S. is considered a rare skin condition with no sure known cause and no known cure. Symptoms are recurring pus filled boils...usually on armpits, breasts, pubic hair line, stomach and inner groin area. Boils can also commonly appear on legs, back of neck and buttucks. You can get the boils in one or two places....or all...depending on the severity.

I've finally been diagnosed a year ago...after tons of misdiagnoses from doctors who were uneducated on this "rare" skin condition.

Click on my name and check my posted questions and answers.

Go to the link below. When you're done learning about this so-called rare condition...print out the information and take it to your doctor so he can educate himself too.

I'm really sorry that you have this condition. There is no known cause...there is no known cure. This is due to lack of research and research funding, since it is labled a rare condition.

my grandma used to take a raw piece of bacon and put it on the boil, and cover it with a bandage, and the next morning it would be popped. the grease in the bacon brings it to a head and makes it pop. it is painless. good luck

You will need to see a doctor. He/she can give you some medicine to help control this problem.

call your health insurance providor to see if they have a nurse hotline and do whatever it is they tell you...sorry to hear you have that, my mom had boils when she was young too for awhile. Don't worry, it's nothing you did..
