You really want to get a shampoo from your hairdresser. Alot of the over the counter shampoos are very harsh on the hair. they dry your hair out and therefore you are doing more damage to your hair. Same with conditioners. There are some over the counter conditioners that have wax in them.

My hairdress advised me to use a good condition shampoo.I used to have spit ends and start using Avena shampoo and conditioner..Work wonders..today my hair is healthy and shiny..no more split ends. I don't really think the brand is important but just use a good brand .I never buy shampoo in the stores anymore..I buy from the beauty supply stores or in the beauty shop.

For anyone with curly hair (or just has a lack-of-moisture problem), there is this orange bottled set by Matrix (salon brand) called sleek, i believe, that makes your hair like cracked-out curly and super shiny. If you're a cheap-o like me, Suave makes a generic of it... don't remember what it's called, but it's the only orange bottle of Suave... it's about $2 per bottle, compared to $12, and I have had the same results with either brand.

I either use Halo Redken, or Matrix!! there really good products!! I get it cheap because Im taking cosmetology school!! I suggest you use good shampoos and conditioners because the ones you get from the store can act harsh on the hair they can be expensive but its worth it!! to me at least it is!

you really should use a professional brand from a salon, it will cost alittle more but in the long run your hair will be more healthy! As far as brands i would suggest the matrix line they have a tone of different shampoos to choose from!

The ORIGINAL Pantene Pro-V in the vitamin shaped bottle, and it smelled like vitamins. Completely different chemical makeup than the crap they make today.
