I make home-made peanut butter dog biscuits. Here is the recipe:
2 c. flour
1 T. baking powder
1 c. peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
3/4 c. milk
Mix dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients. Mix until well blended. Divide dough into 2 portions. Kneed one portion on a floured board for about 2 minutes. Roll dough with rolling pin about 1/2" thick. Cut with dog-bone shaped cookie cutter (size appropriate for your dog). Place cut biscuits on foil-lined baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 400*. Repeat kneading, cutting and baking process with second half of dough. Allow biscuits to cool completely and store in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed container.
These dog treats require ingredients that I usually have around the house already, so I don't have to buy anything special to make them, and my dogs LOVE them!! Give them a try. What have you got to lose?

I have used a recipe called Simple Simon's Birthday Bones. My dogs really enjoyed them. It has peanut butter in it which is always a huge hit.

brand name beef broth poured into ice cube tray. I dump them into a baggie and can melt 2 and pour in on dry food. Also ground turkey browned with carrots - pourd into plastic baby food containers so I can thaw one at a time.Somebody is spoiled. She is also crazy about fresh carrot sticks.

Just give him a piece of your barbeque steak, minus the seasoning.
