hi. i was on the craziest diet, almost no fat and only vegetables and fruit, now my periods are all messed up, i would usually only get my period like 4 times a year. so now i'm on yasmin, and is it okay to take even primrose oil everyday?! i plan to take 1 EPO, 1 fish oil everyday, is that okay?! thanks!

If you are underweight i wouldnt recomend it. Evening primrose oil is known also as a weight loss supplement and if you are underweight i doubt you would want to lose more weight. If you are taking yasmin it should regulate your period after awhile as long as you take it correctly.

Please see this link on information (accurate) about EPO. I have to highlight the fact that it does not have any proven efficacy in premenstrual symptoms, etc. It also can interact with fish oils to cause nosebleeds. In addition it can lower your immune system. Most importantly, it may lower the seizure threshold and women with eating disorders are already at a higher risk for seizures.

Your periods are screwed up because you are starvinng to death, I think you should start taking vitamin and mineral suppliments, and something with some FAT in it.
