You will only burn about 200 calories in 30 minutes walking on a treadmill. But, if you rode the Elliptiacal Trainer you will burn 400 calories in the same amount of time. And, it is more beneficial and works more muscle groups.

Each person is different depending on his weight and age.
make sure to put in your weight on the treadmill and your age and it will show you how much you burning.
I think that in an hour on the treadmill- walking and running you can burn a 400-600 calories.

Well 1 pound of fat is = to 3500 calories and if you are losing weight to keep it off you should try for at least a 2 lb loss, a week. If you are working out 5 days a week that would be 700 calories that you need to burn, per day.

It depends on the level and length of time you are using it, but I would say at a good jog for 30 min. you should be burning around 200 to 300 calories.

Ball park estimate, 100 calories per mile, reguardless of speed or time. Remember this only an estimate. Consult an exercise physiologist if you want a more exact answer.

Depends on how fast you are going, and how you set your treadmill, like if it has more resistance and you have to work harder.
