I know Vegas is king, and Reno ain't bad, but I'm on the East Coast and it's getting more and more expensive to fly out West. What East Coast venues provide the best gaming environments?

You said casino area, so I'm guessing you'd like to stay one place and walk around to other casinos. I have been to many and I think the best place on the east coast is Atlantic City. Foxwoods in connecticut is the biggest casino in the world, but it's in the middle of no where. Tunica Mississippi is spread out and although the casinos are big, nice and clean, they're spread out. All of those casinos are in rural Mississippi also. Tunica is about 1/2 hour drive from Memphis Tennessee

I don't think there is any gambling east of the Mississippi that is worth making a trip to. I have been to the Detroit casinos, Cincinnati metro casinos, Tunica, Atlantic City, and the Connecticut casinos and they are all disappointments. To be honest, I'd rather just stay at home and gamble online if I am not going to Las Vegas.

Um that would be Mississippi Gulf Coast(Mississippi has more near Tunica). Isn't that obvious? I heard they're rebuilding like mad and putting New Orleans to shame. There is a proposed plan for a 100 billion dollar casino complex. Supposed to be the biggest casino investment since Vegas.

I honestly like Atlantic City, New Jersey a lot. Its my second favorite gambling destiantion behind Las Vegas, Nevada of course. However, because I live on the East Coast I go there way more often.
