Loki (pronounced "lowkey") is a great name for an orange kitten. Loki is the Norse God of mischief. Anyway, I've got an orange boy cat named Loki and he's made it 15 years plus. Could be good luck?

I had a similar problem, except that I thought my female was a male,I had named "him" tigger and on the first vet visit they were suprised that he was in fact a she,I guess that 90% of orange tabbys are in fact males. But I left her name tigger because it fit her personality.she was 9 years old when she passed on,feel free to use tigger if you want,or if you are looking for one of those out of the ordinary names you dont hear every day,I can,t help you there, well maybe I could...I have red hair, when I was little it used to be BRIGHT (orange) red,and my uncle always called me zinubes,it has been my nickname ever since,I have no idea what it means but it is odd,and I can gurantee no one has ever heard of that before...until now, anyway maybe that can be of some help.

Instead of cute animal name (like most people), how about a regular human name? I think it would be cool, like if your cat was named Dave. Not only would he stand out in the feline community, but he would grow up with the confidence and self-esteem that you thought enough of him to give him a regular name like all the humans around him.

I'm a HUGE fan of Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese cat! Her parent's names are papa meow and mamma meow. I think those names are simple and cute. I think "buddy" would be a good name for a cat.
