"and you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved." Matthew 10:22
"for the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but for those who are being saved it is the power of God." Cor. 1:18
2 Peter 3:3-4: "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?"
We aren't perfect, but we should try our best not to Judge, but to act humble and paitent. This way others will know we are Jesus' disciples.

Looks like you need therapy, not encouragement.

Certainly. I'm a "new" Christian and have re-devoted myself to walking in God's way. However, recently my spirit, faith and hope had been shaken so desperately. Jesus intervened just when I needed it, but I am so "green" in knowing the bible and what God says. When I do read it...I get a bit confused. My life had gotten so blended with what the world says and what the bible says that now I'm having trouble distinguishing between the two. Too afraid to ask questions on here because I don't want to be discouraged.
Thank you for the encouraging bible verses. Greatly appreciated! Cheers & Blessings

Oh get off your high horse! Christians in America got it made we aren't nearly as persecuted as those in muslim countries for their beliefs. Be thankful that we have it so well and we should be praying for our brothers and sisters in those countries where they have no say.

We always need encouragement! :) I am glad I came upon the place because it helps me to know how screwed up the county really is and how much work we need to do to further God's Kingdom. God Bless You Brother!

Like it says in Matthew.45:-48 "happy is the slave if his master finds him doing so" 48 says" But if ever that evil slave should say in his heart my master is delaying"you have to read the rest.people don't understand they need to take in the knowledge even if they are at home reading the bible and taking note and trying to be righteous people.religion does suck alot but if you search for the truth you will find it.

Thank you. For all of the hatred, disbelief, animosity, slander, antagonism, and vile people who would spread dissent and disrespect to those who would believe, I really needed that. Thank You. And for what it's worth, I've never shoved ANYTHING down anyone else's throat. Once again, thank you.

Hey, thanks...I definitely needed that. I know those scriptures, but sometimes get discouraged. If you didn't help anyone else God just used you to encourage me. Thanks a million! God Bless and I love you!
