I don't think I'd attempt that one. If you concentrate on school your family will suffer. If you concentrate on your family your education (and future patients) suffers.

Exception: If you are one of those (annoying ;-) people who looks at a book once and knows the material. Then you've got a shot at it.

Is there some reason your spouse can't get a job? Why is all the sacrifice supposed to come from you?

Possible? Yes. Likely to succeed? No. If your spouse is supportive and willing to work while you go, as well as assume the burden of all other 'family" responsibilities, you could make it work. You will definitely not have a lot of time for anything but school though.

If you want to finish med school I would recommend getting your families support. There is nothing better then a family that understands you and supports you in your decisions.

Not really! The hours are long, the homework is large, intense studying all the time. You will be lucky to have 2 days a week off if not one day. Its too late for you, unless you become single then you have a fighting chance.

Ask any Doctor and he'll tell you this is close to impossible.
