No! Do not feed puppies regular cow milk, it will upset their stomachs and you do not want to have to clean that up. I have found that regular puppy milk from a vets office or pet store, wherever, can be expensive. Someone gave me a puppy, her momma died and she still had to be bottle fed. I got baby formula (like what you would buy for a human baby), and rice cereal ( for a human baby) and mixed it together and fed her that. My "puppy" is just fine and it did not upset her tummy. Every dog is different just like humans. This worked for me. I only put about 1-2 teaspoons rice cereal to about 1 1/2-2 ounces formula. I got my "puppy" at the beginning of December '05, and today she is just as happy and healthy as can be.
Hope this helps. Good Luck and I am sure they love you for taking them in!

you shouldn't feed them cows milk, most dogs are lactose intolerant. You should be able to go to your local pet store and get some milk replacer suitable for puppies. Also, depending on how they are, you can buy some high quality puppy food from your vet or pet store (not the grocery store) and mush it up with water (if it's dry food), or mix some dry with some wet puppy food and try to get them to eat that. It would probably be a good idea to have them checked by a vet also to be sure there isn't anything else going on. Good luck.

it depends on how old they are if their eyes are not open or if they have no teeth yet then yes you will have to bottle feed use puppy milk replacement also known as Esbilac Liquid by Pet Ag prices from $4.99 at petsmart.com if you can not get to a pet store their are plenty of emergency recipes using goat milk or evaporated milk here is a site with lots of recipes http://www.lowchensaustralia.com/breeding/bottlefeeding2.htm

it also gives you step by step instructions on raising them .

good luck . I would get them to a vet ASAP because worms , fleas and other diseases tend to be harbored in fragile little puppy bodies and can claim their lives if not treated promptly .

Don't feed puppies cows milk, it will upset their tummies and give them diarrhea.
Go to the pet store and get puppy replacer milk that is the best thing to feed puppies.
Feed them every 2 hours around the clock and stimulate their bottoms so they go to the bathroom.
Good luck

Depends on how old they are. If they look too young to be away from mom, then yes milk is okay. If they look older, get some puppy chow & mix it with warm water instead of milk. They need to be weaned from milk if they are old enough to be away from mom. And the milk will make them sick eventually. God bless you for taking those babies in & helping them. Wish more people were like you.

if your are using Cow s milk I would sugest you purchase a puppy milk replacment instead as the amount of lactose in cows milk is difficult for puppies to digest and will cause problems. Contact your local veterinary clinic as to the proper care for the puppies. the age of the puppies is also an important consideration. if the have been weaned they could be given a quality puppy food instead of milk. consult a veterinarian.

If you can afford it, take them to a vet for a check up.

As far as feed, unweened pups can be fed by bottle or syringe... I have always used a mixture of mostly canned milk with an egg white and a little karo syrup...

Best of luck :)

How big are they? If they are little then that will work fine for now. If you decide to keep them, take them to the vet and have them checked out. Puppies will die without proper care. If not, find a shelter for them that does not kill animals that haven't been adopted. Give them to people, put up flyers. Make sure they are healthy by taking them to the vet!!

Temporarily it's ok but it's not giving them what they need. You need to go get them puppy formula from the store. Or if they are old enough get them some puppy chow and soak it in water.

Are you sure their momma wasn't out looking for food and u have just kidnapped them?
