Victor ious: Well aren't you concerned about if you're wrong? You are talking pretty bold yourself. What about when you die and another religion turns out to be the "correct" one? You are right, science can't prove that there is no christian god, but neither can it prove that any of the other religions is false either. So you are left counting on one religion among a field of tens of thousands.
rescuediver: this goes for you too. If you are right, then heaven, if your religion is "wrong" then some version of hell. How are you in a better situation than Angelina? It is just a probable that whatever the ultimate deity turns out to be, it will send christians to hell and atheists to heaven as it is the other way around.
The Pascal's Wager situations which believers use really is pathetic. If the only options were Christianity or Atheism it may make sense (even though converting out of fear seems to be the most pathetic reason to convert), but given that there are thousands of religions, claiming that the only possiblities are to bet on Christianity and risk nothing or bet on atheism and risk an eternity in hell is a sad example of an inability to think.
PS: There are some examples of good reasoning by theologians and christian philosophers. Unfortunately they don't seem to have made it into the mainstream.

Okay lets talk, of all the knowledge you DO NOT KNOW even if you are the smartest person on earth, there is A large part you know nothing about, can God live there? No heaven? No hell? Because Angelina Jole says so? And you know this for a fact? How? Where is your proof? Has anyone come back from the dead to say there is no afterlife?
You talk pretty bold - but at the end of your life when you find out there is a God, heaven and hell.., and you discover this much to your chagrin..., it will be too late to backtrack.
Angelina Jole may be an expert on acting - but acting is a far cry from knowing there is no God or afterlife. Even scientific logic allows for the Unknown (from their viewpoint). That is.., until it comes to God, heaven and hell.

I have! And Angelina is not "mindless." Her work for refugees has improved the lives of more people than you or I ever will. Although she has not helped nearly as many people as the Catholic church has directly or indirectly killed over the years. . . I suppose she still has time but man thats a big number!!!!

If I become an atheist, I'm going to do it because it's the right choice for me. Not because a celebrity did it. Then again...if Angelina Jolie adopts me, I'll become an atheist.

I'm not saying she is or isn't. But how can you determine whether someone is an atheist just from a website? How would you like it if someone made a website about you like that?
I do believe in God though, and God made her a beautiful body... and face. Those eyes and lips are just amazing. I'm not lesbian but when I saw Tomb Raider I was mesmorized...

Angelina Jolie is hardly the person to follow after. its a bit ridiculous, dont you think, to follow after someone else's faith (or lack thereof) and not your own?
