You were not wrong to kick him to the curb. Both people need to contribute finanbially as well as physically and emotionally to a relationship - if one of these is not there - move on.

Why do you love him? I don't know, do you really love yourself? If so, then stop and take a good look at the relationship and see what the draw is - if it is purly physically - RUN - no questions - find someone who pleases you and gives a crap about you and himself.

I think you have some guilt... when your bf didnt want to work, it is good that you had concerned for him to find a job or not be lazy... however i think his job must have really sucked and he may in time want to find a better job.. and then i finally read your last part and yea what a loser... but he is your boyfriend not your husband so we have a dilema dont we...

No!!! He is taking advantage of u. Well in a way, he knows he can sit on his butt while u are out working or schooling! That is not fair and I am sure you will be able to find someone who will work with you to make ur future brighter. You shouldn't have to settle!

That depends, what did you need him for? Women need me for an array of reasons. Some women need bf's to pay their bills, some need them for sex, some need them for emotional support, etc. If you never needed him financially, but needed him in other ways then you have questions for yourself. Can you live without those factors? Can he be faithful and dependable?

Did you just break up with him or did you tell him that he had to get a job first? If you told him then it's not wrong that you broke up with him because everyone has their own standards but if you didn't then it was because you didn't give him a chance to try and get one.
