This is called fatalism, and is in logical error. Clearly everything is not predetermined. To your question I add another: did you type that question of your own accord, or was that predetermined too? Obviously, we have free will. Obviously, we have personal responsibility. God is sovereign, which means He has power of choice and consequence. We only have power of choice.

You might enjoy reading what is known as process theology. Process theology holds that God does not know everything, only everything that has happened up until the present moment.
In process theology, we are all co-creators with God.
While God attempts to "lure" us towards actions of a desired course, ultimately we make the choice of what we will do.
According to process thought, God is pleased with newness and renwal, with novelty and uniqueness. We are all different and have different responses. For God to experience pleasure, God must also partake in our pain and suffering.
Process theology understands the creation as emerging, not set in stone, so there are not predetermined outcomes, nor are heaven and hell part of the end result, but rather becoming a part of the universe, a part of of God, in one sense.

You are assuming that predetermination is an absolute, and I think perhaps you might be at a point of questioning predetermination. That is a much longer conversation than what the meaning of life is because life is what you make of it. You do have the power to control your own destiny to a certain extent.

This is my belief:
We are here so that God can experience God's self.
God is absolute. In this state there are no contradictions and no relativity. Everything is constant, absolute.
There are no temperature fluctuations, for instance. How would you know it's hot, if you never experienced cold? How would you know you're tall, if you never saw someone shorter than you? How would you know love if you never experienced hate or fear?
God knows what God is, but the knowing of a thing and the experiencing of it are two entirely different things. For example you know what icecream is, but experiencing the taste of it is different (and SO much better) than just intellectually knowing that it is frozen cream and sugar.
God created life as we know it so that God could experience God's self in the world of relativity through us, who are each an individuation of the whole.
God does not judge us for our actions...after this physical incarnation ends we will return to the spiritual dimension and decide if we want to stay or experience another physical incarnation. This is how we serve God.
There is no such physical place as hell that God sends us to. Hell is a state of mind and you create your own hell with your beliefs.
So, live life with joy and gratitude and take advantage of the chance to fully experience every event that comes your way.

A teacher know about his students that whether he is going to make a success or failure in the exams. The universe is a trail for us, we have been given the chance. At the very first day, Allah has taken a promise from all & all beings to follow His path after being sent to this earth. So now this is the place to prove ourselves. What u will do in this world, you will be rewarded in the same way at the day of judgement.

Here's the Jewish answer:
God is a being of good.
It is the nature of good to do good unto others.
Therefore, we were created - to be the recipients of God's good.
Goodness earned is better than goodness freely given.
Therefore, God put us here first, before we can get into Heaven, so we can earn our way to Heaven.
We earn by following His instructions, as laid out in Hebrew Scriptures.
The fact that God knows what our choice will ultimately be does not contradict the fact that we are the ones who choose what to do. It is our choice that determines what God knows, not the other way around.

Well, you don't think the whole universe works the way Earth does, do you? No! One species, one planet! There is a planet of deer, a planet of Asians, and so on! We put them all together on Earth and the whole universe tunes in to watch the fun!
Most of the races of Earth are descended from alien races, in order to create drama from racial tension from their unnatural cohabitation of the planet.
The purpose of our lives as humans is to entertain the life forms on other planets through the reality television show that they know as EARTH.
The only reason that the show was not cancelled, the planet of earth not demolished, and we are still alive after 100 episodes is because I blackmailed the Joozians who produce the show with some dirty pictures that Kenny took of them while they were high on blach.

God knows all, but He gives all free choice in believing Him. in reality, WE decide whether we are going to heaven or hell, depending on if we ask Jesus into our hearts. predestination does not mean that God has chosen certain people to become saved. rather, it is knowing who will take that choice. the meaning of life is to serve and glorify the Creator with everything we do, with every breath we take. we are not a game. God desires to have a relationship with us.

Your question holds the answer.
Why then we have brains and why we can reason and choose if everything is predetermined.
Why there is a Judgment day, if we have no control over anything.
You need to think for your self based on the above and try to reach an answer that combine what you know and what I told you so you come to the right answer

God is God all ways.
Welcome to the conditional reality of FREE WILL.
Where you can be anything you choose, in collaboration with everyone else, all at once. Even though the illusion would have us think we are separate.... everything effects everything here.
Time is an illusion. It is all ways NOW. Past and future exist in your mind/ego. All of it is happening now.
It's not so much "where are you going" as much as it is "WHERE ARE YOU NOW?"
God is.
