Go to My Computer from your Start Menu then double click on your local drive...usually its your C drive.

Go to the Start Menu (or press the button on the keyboard that has the Windows logo). Then, on the left side, there is a folder that says My Computer. Click that, and in that folder, there should be something that starts with C:/. That's the hard drive.

Windows Key+E it should say Local Disk C or D or any other letter fo the alphabet. To make sure double click the drive and see if the folder named: WINDOWS is in there.

1- double clic my computer
2- doble clic c:
method 2
1- right clic on START buton
2 left clic on EXPLORE
3- At the left window, using direction button to see LOCAL DISK OR C: doble clic it

If you want to see what kind it is, go through the start menu and right click on my computer, then click on properties, then device manager, then look for your harddrive there.
