There are no official public records in Ontario that are publically accessable. Depending on the individual's job or location, you may get info from a variety o fdifferent sources. Try Canada 411 to get basic information - or if they are a proffessional (lawyer, teacher, etc) those proffessions have special websites that have some useful information.

You can go to the genealogy department for Ontario. You can get some things on line if you pay a price. If you want some information may be at Ancestry.com. It depends on what kind of information your looking for. Sometimes you can go to the governors web sight and find some things.
