Milk is not bad for you. In fact, it's actually quite good for you and an essential part of childhood development as well as an essential source of calcium for adults.

While whole milk is better to drink while you're younger, once an adult fat-free or reduced-fat milk is the way to go to avoid some of the fats in whole milk.

If you're lactose intolerant, than dairy can be bad for you, but drinking alternatives such as silk or soy milk are a great way to replace the nutrition in regular milk.

Yes, I knew that. Adults don't need the calcium or protein in milk. The vitamin D is ok, but it isn't worth the fat content and hormones you get on the side.

They shoot milking cows full of so many hormones that they lactate nonstop for about two or three years, then they keel over.

As a side note: Calcium deficiency doesn't exist. Osteoporosis in this country is caused by sedentary lifestyle. Taking more calcium won't help anyone. "Calcium for strong bones" is an advertising slogan that's completely false.
