Because of hope for one reason. Another is because God will always come to our aid, at the most, right on time, for another reason. A third reason, is because I can not see anything bad to me being worse than anyone else.

These are three reasons.

It could always be worse, no matter how bad things are. Given that they're not worse, merely bad, they're relatively ok, and if something's ok, than you could say that all is well.

I'm a closet optimist. Sometimes I elaborate on how bad something is, but I almost always follow with a much worse scenario. Example: yeah, the world has room for improvement, and my computer runs a little slow sometimes, but at least Teletubbies is restricted to only a few time slots on rare channels!

For a Christian, there is a separation of the things of this world and the coming kingdom of Jesus Christ. Everything that happens in this world is temporary; the kingdom of God will be eternal.

Therefore, no matter what happens to me, with regard to daily circumstance, it is merely a passing thing. There will be a time when Jesus will rule and reign, when the crooked will be made straight, when there will be no more tears, no more hunger, no more affliction. I believe these promises of God and nothing about this earth can move me.

Jesus said "heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words will never pass away". Earthly things, as we see them now...are all passing away. He and His kingdom, His righteousness and holiness and perfection, never will.

All is not well when things are bad for you... but if you hold on a while they always get better. Fortunately things have never been bad for everyone at the same time.

Yes. I believe that everything in this physical incarnation is an illusion and that after it's over we will go back to our real life on the spiritual plane, where we will look back at all of our dramas and traumas and realize how little they all really were. Something like when you look back at your childish ways in childhood and realize how much you didn't know back then.

Relativity is the one word answer.

We should be thankful because it would be much worse as worse has infinite grades.

You could feel bad because you lost your job, yet you are in much better that who is ill.

Also, because we do not know what is worse for us. You could be really sorry for missing a meeting at WTC on Sep11 and feels that it is the worse for you, but on Sep 12 you would say Thank you God for this delay as it saved my life.
