Well lets see:
Taxes and inflation force both parents to work, leaving "junior" home alone.
Gasoline prices have gone through the roof.
We're involved in a war we can't possibly win because there's no way anyone can make terror "surrender".
Our "Nation", being converted into a multicultural chamber pot through the governments open border policy, is anything but a "Nation".
Due process under the law has been over-ridden by Homeland Security and presidential decree.
Congress, the "Representatives of the People", strives daily to earn the title, "Parliament of Whores".
The typical American "boob" is more interested in who wins "American Idol" than what his children are up to.
Nope. I'd say the "System" is in complete working order.

It was bound to fail from the beginning. How could we have said the "home of the free" when the people who originated it owned slaves? How can it be "our" land when we killed off as many native americans as we could to steal it. Doomed to failure, but, its still the best there is. Many faults, many problems, but would we rather be somewhere else? I mean besides Tahiti. Not me, there is no better country. Who knows, maybe we'll get it right one of these days? Maybe we'll get candidates who aren't glory hounds and corrupt politicians. Maybe we'll learn to vote for people who really care, who aren't millionaires and can't be bought? Nah, but its a nice thought.

Yes we are going down the tube so to speak.. You know that they just found 7 Muslims, citizens of the US that were planning on blowing the sears tower building.. One of these days they are not going to catch them soon enough..They are going to take the US from the inside.
