Yellow spots and swelling are sure signs of an infection. Better get to a doctor. You may need to have your tonsils removed. My son had throat infections quite often and the doctor removed his tonsils. No throat infections so far.

An infection of some kind. Those are probably pus pockets.
You could have mono or strep throat.
Call your doctor, you may need antibiotics.

it maybe tonsilitis that can cause hoarseness of your voice
don't drink cold beverages
drink a lot of warm water or try to boil a water and but ginger extracts in it. it is very effective
