I think some people require more "proof" than others. That's why some people accept religion better than others. But people accept air, gravity, etc and we can't see them so I don't know why religion is so hard to accept.

Some things cannot be seen such as love. How do you believe in love? Is it not personal experience with love that causes you to believe in it?
Some believe in something after they experience or understand something, some do believe in something even if they have yet to experience, seen or understand it. It works both ways because belief itself creates reality.

Many things can be believed without being seen.
Credible evidence supports believing in those things. And credible evidence is more than "because I said so."

Many people believe in what the Bible says, not because they understand everything (not even most things) in the Bible, but they have found enough truths that they are sure the rest is true as well.

Do you believe in air? Can you see air? Does this answer your question? Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. (unless there is no proof to support it or disprove it)
