It is best if you let the dog around others that way he can love all. You don't want to make a scard dog. Because how would if take it if you have to leave him a the vets or what not. Not a very good idea. Take him every place you can with you after 12 weeks and all the main shots.

Dogs tend to bond mostly with the person who trains, plays, and takes care of them. A great way to bond is to go to puppy and obedience classes.
Some breeds tend to like lots of people, some are more one person dogs.

the key is to be a good leader to your dog. This means that you control who can interact with your dog. do not let other people just walk up to your dog with out going through you first this also protects people from harming your dog and promotes good social skills. talk to a trainer about obedience training and a veterinarian about health care issues. research dog care in books and take the best care of your pet from before you purchase it to the last breath it will take and your dog will be your best friend.

Be it's primary caregiver. That works every time. My puppy rarely leaves my side. No matter where I am in the house, she is right there with me. When we are around others, she mingles, but then comes right back to me.

Dogs are pack animals they will cower to the head dog (you). So make sure that you are the only one to feed him, housebreak him, play with him, walk him, etc, while he is young. That way he will look at you as his leader (head dog) and you will be first to him and everyone else will be second.

Feed it and sleep with it and play with it. If you do all these things then it will be attached to you. Don't let anyone else to things that you should do, becuase then you will confuse the puppy.
