Ex-mormon for 26 years.
My family has been mormon for 5 generations going back to 1853 with polygamy and Brigham Young, the Mountain Meadows Massacre and the Adam-God doctrine. When I was in LDS Seminary, they were teaching us that vegetables have spirits that evolve into Gods (pages 102 and 103 of The Seer by Orson Pratt).
