Just curious how many people are MMA educated enough to know who he is and how much they know about him.

Mirko is by far my favorite fighter even though his fight with fedor and the fights following make it very clear that he's not the best fighter.. he still has the most entertaining style to watch and to emublate but maybe with a little more emphasis on BJJ.

I'm from Croatia and Mirko is by far my favorite fighter too and I think that along side Fedor he is at the moment the best MMA fighter in the world.

I am convinced that by the end of PRIDE open weight grand prix in September Mirko will prove this statement right. After he beats Yoshida in quarterfinals next week he will most likely get the chance to take on Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira once again and show who the better fighter is (Mirko lost that match in 2003 due to one single error and his inexperience on the ground and there is no way he'll get submitted like that now), and maybe even a rematch against Hunt (if he passes Josh Barnett). But just for the record Mirko already beat Hunt in K-1 so they are 1-1 at the moment. I'm sure that Mirko will take this tournament in the end and earn the right to get Emelianenko in the ring one more time.

Fight Fan already gave all the statistics so i won't write about that.

I think that it would be very interesting to see Mirko face UFC's Tim Sylvia and Andrei Arlovski and take them apart just to show all these bias, ignorant UFC "fans" who really know nothing about MMA what real heavyweight fighters are all about.
And one more thing - there is no way that Chuck Liddell would do anything except get knocked out against Mirko. Mirko is a lot better kickboxer, far more powerful and explosive then Chuck and his ground game at this moment is just as good if not even better. If they were to have a match I'd pick Mirko by KO or TKO within 5 minutes.

So in the end I can only say once more that I'm very much looking forward to seeing the end of this year's PRIDE OWGP and hopefully seeing Mirko as a winner and in the ring with Fedor on December 31 one more time to decide who the PRIDE champion and the best MMA heavyweight in the world is.

Where can you start when you are talking about one of the most dangerous and entertaining fighters in the world.

Mirco Cro Cop Filipoviv born 9/10/1974 out of Croatia 6'2, 213lbs
Has a MMA record of 18-4-2 13 TKO 2 submissions and 3 decisions. He is a very good kick-boxer and fights in the PRIDE FC he has only fought the best in the world beating the most credible fighters in MMA today with wins over
Fujita,Kazushi Sakuraba,Heath Herring,Igor Vovchanchyn,Ron Waterman,Kevin Randellman,Josh Barnett and Mark Coleman there is no arguing that he is one of the best in the world.
He has only lost to Former UFC heavyweight champion Kevin Randelman, former PRIDE FC heavyweight champion Antonio Nogueira, Mark Hunt, and current PRIDE FC heavyweight champ Fedor Emelianenko.
I love to watch him fight and i think you are right if he does work on his Ju-Jitsu he will be at the top of either division but Fedor and Silva might have something to say about that.

And he would tear strips through UFC fighters like Tito but i would love to see him in a cage with Chuck just to see the 2 best kickboxers in MMA go at it what a match up.
