I believe that it is benificial to have a strong respect for the doctrine that Good is good and Bad is bad.

No, only because I had visited a few different religion churches and each and every time I have encountered unpleasant experiences.
I have seen, and heard things that has made me second question each and every religion..
So I believe in GOD, I don't need a to be in a religion to accept him, or Love him..

no. "religion" is a dirty word. religion consists of any organized belief structure...including but not limited to:
Wiccan, Hinduism, Islamic, Jewish, Christianity, Jehovah Witness, Buddhism, Satanism...
