For Dry Frizzy Hair:
Hair normally has a moisture content of approximately 10%. If your hair’s moisture content drops below this level the key is to increase the hair’s ability of attract and retain moisture. This is accomplished by using moisturizers. Good one have "humectants" that not only replace lost moisture but actually attract moisture and retain it in the cortex of the hair. Essential fatty aids (EFA’s) are great moisturizers. One of the best and most cost effective essential fatty acids is safflower oil. It is the kind you can buy to cook with. It is rich in EFA’s. The scalp produces the best EFA’s called sebum. The problems is once the hair grows past the neck line or does not have direct contact with the scalp the scalps natural oils can not be utilized throughout the hair shaft. At this point you can manually replace the lost EFA’s by:
1. Placing 1 or 2 drops of safflower oil in your palms and rub them together.
2. There should only be enough to make your hands "shine" in the light.
3. Carefully take your hair (while dry) and "scrunch" the small amount of oil to the ENDS first and work toward the scalp.
4. Leave this in your hair.
5. 1-2 drops of safflower oil on dry hair is so small, you won’t notice it is there. By doing the above as often as necessary, will ensure your dry hair will have the proper amount of humectants to attract and retain moisture. The key is a small amount will go a long way.

Use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. You can also use a mayonnaise and egg mixture after your shampoo, apply it to the hair, put a shower cap on, and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then wash it out with a little shampoo. You can also put a little olive oil in a spray bottle, and spray it on your hair (lightly) while it is damp, then blow dry.
For the frizzing, try a anti-frizzing serum. Also, consider getting your ends trimmed, as this may help the hair to not look as frizzy. Good luck.

Hi! Use sulfate free shampoos because they are less damaging and they don't leave hair dry and frizzy. I use shampoo from the Pro Natural Hair Repair System hair care line. It helped keep my hair healthy and shiny!

First, get a good trim. and do it regularly. (every 6 weeks)
My hair was damaged from color, sun, etc and I used extra virgin olive oil. Warm it up and put in on the ends working to the root. Leave on as long as you can. I did it when I didn't have to go out and left it for the day. Shampoo. I did this on a regular basis and now people are always telling me how nice and shiny my hair is.
Oh yeah, mayonaisse is suppose to be good too! All that egg and oil is healthy for hair.

It took me many hair stylists to finally get it right. I'll give you some pointers...
1-Start with a good conditioner for frizzy or damaged hair.
2-After washing, put a dime sized amount of defrizzer in your hair. (I use Tigi S-factor Smoothing Lusterizer) while it is still wet.
3-Blow dry in sections, using a flat brush and pointing the blow dryer downward. Make sure it is completely dry.
4-Use a really hot ceramic flat iron. Clip hair in sections. Start at the bottom. Spray a shine spray on each section (I use Bed Heads' Headrush) and immediately running flat iron from top to bottom twice. Move on to next section until ur done.
5-I only wash my hair every other day so I don't dry it out from washing it too much and so I only have to go through this process every other day. Takes about an hour for long hair from shower to finish.

Hot oil works nicely, but if you have very thick hair like I do, you should use about twice what the package tells you to. VO5 has a good one, comes in a tube, and you don't have to microwave or any of that... it gets how on it's own, strange as that sounds.
